So, what is a Broch? Brochs are massive circular stone towers woven into the archaeological landscape. They are the most studied and enigmatic buildings of Scottish prehistory. Caithness, in the far north of Scotland, has more brochs than anywhere else in the country.

We were approached by The Caithness Broch Project Team with the task of creating a brand new website to help educate people about these amazing structures and to promote their exciting goal… To build a replica broch, using the same historic drystone building techniques as the Northern Caledonian tribes had mastered over 2000 years ago! How amazing would that be?

As well as providing interesting project details and updates the site also has a great feature in their adventure map, pinpointing the historic Broch locations and providing tourist information, photos and directions to help you truly discover the beauty of the areas. You can even contribute to the project by grabbing yourself some CBP Merchandise via their online shop! This grass-roots charity group have big plans and you can get involved... Visit their website, become a member, follow their journey.
