Open Planet Software are a globally renowned app development company based in Aberdeenshire. They develop and produce a number of innovative apps, not only for themselves, but also for various high profile international client. Open Planet approached CP&Co. to assist in the promotion of their flagship app, “Just Press Record”. Just Press Record is an award-winning mobile audio recorder that brings one tap recording, transcription and iCloud syncing to all devices. Our task was to communicate the apps features to the marketplace in a creative and informative manner whilst maintaining the casual tone of the company.

We produced a fully animated and narrated product commercial for “Just Press Record”. Using elements from the app’s interface, we created a simple but very effective video that not only advertises the app, but explains key features across all available devices to existing and new users. Furthermore, we created a website skin which included various animated features to really bring the page to life. The web skin was designed with the product commercial in mind, telling the same story to an international audience online, making sure the page could be easily viewed on all devices seamlessly.
